REP. UKODHIKO HAILS EVANS EGBO ON INVESTITURE AS 2ND PRESIDENT OF ISOKO ROYAL LIONS CLUB
The Isoko Royal Lions Club, District 404-A4 Nigeria, recorded another milestone on Sunday, March 8, 2026, with the official investiture of Lion Chief Hon. Evans Oghogho Egbo, KSC, JP, as its 2nd substantive President.
The colourful ceremony, held in Oleh, the headquarters of Isoko South Local Government Area, was attended by humanitarian leaders, traditional titleholders, and political stakeholders from across the area.
The Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, was ably represented at the event by a delegation comprising Comrade Ighokido Emmanuel and Sir Lawrence Efeturi.
In a goodwill message delivered at the ceremony, Rep. Ukodhiko commended the newly inaugurated President for his longstanding commitment to humanitarian service and community development.
Speaking through his representative, the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Science and Technology said: “This well-deserved honour reflects your unwavering commitment to service, leadership, and the development of our community. Your dedication to humanitarian causes and your passion for uplifting others have distinguished you as a worthy leader for this noble organisation.”
Rep. Ukodhiko also expressed confidence in Chief Egbo’s ability to lead the club to greater impact.
“As you assume this important responsibility, we are confident that your tenure will further strengthen the ideals of Lionism and bring meaningful and lasting impact to Isoko Land. May your leadership inspire greater unity, compassion, and service to humanity.”
The delegation, on behalf of the federal lawmaker and the people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, wished the new President a successful and impactful tenure as he leads the club to greater heights.
The investiture ceremony marks another significant chapter for the Isoko Royal Lions Club, reinforcing its mission to serve the vulnerable and promote community development across Isoko Land.
