NANS Southwest Zone D Backs Babtee for National President

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Southwest Zone D and the Forum of Joint Campus Committee (JCC) Chairmen have thrown their weight behind Comrade Akinteye Babatunde Azeez (BABTEE) for the position of NANS National President. The endorsement was announced at a press conference held on Wednesday, 12th March 2026, where student leaders from across Southwest Zone D gathered to address the press and the Nigerian student community.
In a statement signed by Comrade Rtr. Tiamiyu Taiwo Ademola (Tee Teelee), Chairman of the JCC Chairmen Forum NANS Southwest Zone D, the leaders emphasized that Comrade Babatunde's vision for a united, progressive, and more impactful NANS aligns with the aspirations of students across campuses. "We believe that Comrade Babatunde's leadership will strengthen advocacy for students' rights, welfare, and educational development across the country," the statement read.
