Kwara State PDP Youth Leader Blasts Government Over 'Normalization of Bandits' Attacks'

Kwara State PDP Youth Leader, Adio Odunjo, has condemned the government's handling of insecurity in the state, saying it's a clear case of leadership failure. The statement comes as bandits continue to strike with impunity, leaving a trail of destruction and fear in their wake.

"This is a clear case of leadership failure, and it's unacceptable," Odunjo said. "The government must wake up and take responsibility for the safety of our people. We can't continue to live like this, with bandits dictating what happens in our state."

The recent attacks in Kwara State are a stark reminder of the government's incompetence and lack of strategic direction. Where is the intelligence coordination? Where is the urgency? Where is the visible, result-driven action? Press statements and empty assurances cannot substitute for decisive leadership.

Every delayed response, every unaddressed attack, is a loud declaration that the safety of the people is no longer a priority. The people of Kwara State are being forced to live in fear, and it's unacceptable. The government must take immediate action to address the insecurity in the state.

The lackadaisical attitude towards security challenges in Kwara State reflects deep-rooted incompetence and an alarming absence of strategic direction. The people of Kwara State deserve better. They deserve leadership that is proactive, not reactive; competent, not clueless; decisive, not indifferent.

Even more troubling is how this failure is being quietly absorbed by the people. Fear has muted outrage, and repeated exposure to violence has bred dangerous acceptance. But silence only empowers incompetence. The people of Kwara State must understand that when they stop demanding accountability, they legitimize failure.

The normalization of insecurity in Kwara State is a ticking time bomb, and it's only a matter of time before it blows up in the faces of the people. The government must act now to prevent a catastrophe. The people of Kwara State will not be silenced, and they will not be ignored.
