Bus Plunges into River in Ibadan, 3 Killed, 5 Rescued

The rescued individuals were taken to Ona-Ara private Hospital in Jegede area for medical attention.

The Chairman of the agency, Mr. Moroof Akinwande, attributed the cause of the accident to reckless driving, urging motorists to always drive with care and observe road safety tips. "We are deeply saddened by this tragic incident, and our thoughts are with the families of the victims," he said. "We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that those responsible are held accountable."

The police have taken custody of the recovered bodies and are investigating the incident.
