The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Ondo State stakeholders have unanimously endorsed Comr. Akinteye Babatunde Afeez (BABTEE) for the position of National President of the Association at the forthcoming convention. This endorsement is seen as a significant boost to BABTEE's campaign, as Ondo State is a key player in the NANS fraternity. The stakeholders' decision is expected to galvanize support for BABTEE's candidacy across the country.

In a statement, Comr. Oluwarotimi Ajayi (Osama), Chairman, NANS Ondo Stakeholders Forum, said the decision was made after extensive consultations and a critical evaluation of BABTEE's competence, experience, leadership capacity, and commitment to the ideals of NANS. Ajayi praised BABTEE's dedication to the Association and his tireless efforts to promote student welfare.

BABTEE's address at the stakeholders' meeting was praised for demonstrating his humility and commitment to the Association. He emphasized that he could not officially declare his candidacy without first seeking the blessings and support of his home state, showcasing his respect for the student community. This gesture was seen as a testament to his willingness to listen and engage with stakeholders.

The stakeholders believe BABTEE's leadership will strengthen the unity, sovereignty, and progress of NANS, citing his track record and pedigree as evidence of his ability to reconcile and unify, and his strong character. They pointed to his successful tenure as a student leader in his home state, where he brought together diverse groups and promoted a culture of inclusivity.

The Ondo NANS stakeholders are calling on all student leaders, Senators, and stakeholders nationwide to support BABTEE's candidacy, emphasizing that his vision for NANS is centered around student welfare, advocacy, and unity. They believe that his leadership will bring about much-needed reforms and improvements to the Association.

As NANS prepares for its forthcoming convention, BABTEE's candidacy is seen as a strong contender, with his momentum expected to continue growing. The stakeholders are optimistic that his presidency will mark a new era of progress and development for the Association. BABTEE's supporters are already gearing up for a vigorous campaign, highlighting his achievements and experience.

BABTEE's supporters are confident that his leadership will bring about much-needed reforms and improvements to the Association, and are urging all students to rally behind him. They point to his commitment to student welfare, his advocacy for quality education, and his dedication to promoting the rights of students.

The endorsement from Ondo State stakeholders is seen as a significant coup for BABTEE, and is likely to give him an edge in the upcoming election. Other states are expected to follow suit, with several stakeholders already expressing interest in supporting his candidacy.

With the convention fast approaching, the stage is set for a highly competitive and closely fought election, with BABTEE emerging as a frontrunner in the presidential race. His opponents are yet to announce their candidacy, but insiders believe that the contest will be between BABTEE and a few other contenders.

The NANS presidential election is seen as a crucial test for the Association, with the winner set to lead the organization for the next two years. The outcome is expected to have far-reaching implications for student politics in Nigeria.
