Kwara Epoch Movement Endorses Comr. Akinteye Babatunde Afeez (Babtee) for NANS Presidency

The Kwara Chapter of the Epoch Movement has formally declared its total and unwavering support for Comr. Akinteye Babatunde Afeez, popularly known as Babtee, in the forthcoming presidential election of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS). The declaration was made in a statement signed by Olakanmi Abdullateef Olawale, spokesperson for the Epoch Movement, Kwara Chapter.
In a statement released by Comrade Olakanmi Abdullateef Olawale, the Spokesperson, Epoch Movement, Kwara Chapter, the endorsement is not based on sentiment but on Babtee’s proven track record of leadership, service, and commitment to the advancement of Nigerian students. His performance as Chairman of the Ondo State JCC reflected strong grassroots organizing ability, effective mobilization, and dedication to student unity and welfare.
Babtee’s tenure as Vice President for External Affairs further showcased his strategic engagement, effective representation, and a strong advocacy voice for students across diverse platforms. His impactful service as Senate President demonstrated administrative competence, legislative capacity, and a deep understanding of student governance and institutional leadership.
These remarkable antecedents, according to the Epoch Movement, affirm his readiness, competence, and vision to lead, reposition, and strengthen the Association in line with the aspirations of Nigerian students. The Kwara Chapter has carefully aligned with his agenda, which resonates with their core values of purposeful representation, inclusive participation, accountability, and progressive student advocacy.
The group expressed confidence that Babtee’s leadership will usher in unity, credibility, and transformational progress within NANS. They believe his experience and leadership qualities make him the ideal candidate to steer the association toward achieving its goals and addressing the challenges facing Nigerian students.
