Comrade Caleb Ogabidu Greets Muslim Ummah, Urges Discipline and Unity During Ramadan

Comrade Caleb King Ogabidu, aspirant for the post of NANS National Vice President (National Affairs), has extended his warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to the entire Muslim Ummah across the globe, with a special message for Nigerian students, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan. He described the holy month as a time of deep reflection, spiritual renewal, and an opportunity for believers to strengthen their connection with Allah (SWT).
He characterized Ramadan as a sacred season of devotion, sacrifice, discipline, and renewed spiritual strength, emphasizing its significance in deepening faith and fostering compassion among humanity. According to him, the rituals of fasting, prayer, and charity during Ramadan serve as powerful reminders of the values of humility, empathy, and generosity.
According to him, the holy month calls on believers to uphold unity, extend kindness, and embrace values that promote peace and harmony in society. He noted that beyond personal worship, Ramadan encourages Muslims to reach out to neighbors, friends, and communities, building bridges of understanding and mutual respect.
Ogabidu noted that Ramadan inspires patience and perseverance, qualities essential for overcoming challenges and striving for excellence in character and academics, especially for students. He added that these virtues, when cultivated during Ramadan, can shape young people into responsible leaders and agents of positive change in Nigeria.
He urged Nigerian students to use the period as a reminder of the power of discipline and determination in achieving success in their educational pursuits and personal development. He encouraged them to channel the lessons of Ramadan into their studies, relationships, and future ambitions, ensuring that their efforts yield lasting impact.
The NANS VP aspirant prayed that Allah (SWT) grants students wisdom, strength, and success, and that their fasting, prayers, and acts of charity be accepted during this holy season. He further prayed for divine guidance and protection over Nigerian students, asking that their sacrifices during Ramadan attract abundant blessings and open doors of opportunity.
He expressed hope that Ramadan would bring forgiveness, abundant blessings, and renewed hope to all Muslims, fostering a spirit of generosity and love across communities. He also called on Muslims to use this season to pray for peace, security, and progress in Nigeria, especially as the nation navigates challenging times.
The message, signed by the Media Directorate of Team Caleb Ogabidu Campaign Organization (COCO), concluded with a heartfelt “Ramadan Mubarak!” and wishes for a fulfilling and spiritually rewarding month. The statement further encouraged Muslims to remain steadfast in faith and to let the light of Ramadan shine through their actions long after the month ends.
Muslim students and community leaders have welcomed Ogabidu’s message, noting its timely emphasis on discipline, unity, and spiritual reflection, and expressing optimism that it will inspire positive actions during Ramadan.
