By Adesakin Adefemi

A high-powered delegation of Asa PDP Youth Stakeholders paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Kwara State PDP Youth Leader, Comrade Odunjo Adio, on _Friday, February 20, 2026_, where they engaged in a strategic and forward-looking discussion focused on the roadmap to 2027 and the imperatives for securing a decisive victory.

Comrade Odunjo Adio, in a statement released after the meeting, described the engagement as “robust and solution-driven,” noting that it centered on grassroots mobilization, ideological alignment, youth inclusion, voter education, and the operational frameworks required to consolidate party structures ahead of the election cycle.

“There was a clear consensus that early preparation, unity of purpose, and disciplined coordination will define our success story in 2027,” Adio stated, emphasizing the importance of collective effort and strategic planning. He added that the meeting marked a turning point in youth-led political engineering within the state.

He highlighted that the members of the platform are exceptional individuals drawn from diverse professional backgrounds and social strata—committed, resourceful, and passionate about the collective progress of the party and the future of Kwara State. Their combined expertise, he said, will serve as a catalyst for innovation in campaign strategy.

“Their depth of insight and readiness to contribute meaningfully to the process is both commendable and reassuring,” Adio added, expressing confidence in the ability of the youth stakeholders to drive the party’s agenda and inspire confidence among electorates.

According to him, the meeting underscored the need for sustained grassroots engagement, with a focus on mobilizing young people across communities to ensure massive participation in the electoral process. He described the youth as “the engine room of our democratic survival.”

Adio further noted that voter education and ideological clarity would remain key pillars of the party’s strategy, ensuring that members and supporters are well-informed and aligned with the PDP’s vision for Kwara State. He pledged to roll out community-based sensitization programs across all local governments.

He stressed that youth inclusion in decision-making processes would be prioritized, as young people represent a critical voting bloc and a driving force for political change. “We will no longer be spectators; we are now architects of our future,” he declared.

“Together, we are not just preparing for an election; we are building a movement anchored on strategy, solidarity, and sustained engagement,” Adio declared, signaling a long-term commitment to party growth and development. He called on all PDP youths to remain steadfast and visionary.

The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of purpose, as stakeholders pledged to sustain momentum, deepen grassroots mobilization, and work collectively toward delivering a resounding PDP victory in 2027.
