My Dear People of Ilaje Constituency II

Time is indeed the silent judge of every promise — and the faithful witness of every action. It rewards sincerity, exposes deception, and crowns consistency with honour. As the days unfold, history will remember not the noise we made, but the value we created and the lives we touched — the schools we rebuilt, the roads we resurfaced, the jobs we secured, and the dignity we restored to our communities.

I stand before you today with a heart full of commitment and a vision anchored in _service that lasts. If you entrust me with your sacred mandate in the coming election, I will offer you not just representation — but _quality, accountable, and results-driven representation_. I will be the voice that speaks boldly in the halls of power, the hand that works tirelessly in your villages and markets, and the mind that plans strategically for long-term prosperity — not short-term applause

Your hopes will be my priority — whether it’s better access to clean water, functional health clinics, youth employment programs, or fair market access for our farmers. Your challenges will be my responsibility — from dilapidated infrastructure to youth disillusionment, from land disputes to school closures. And your collective progress will be my mission — because Ilaje is not just a constituency; it’s a family, a heritage, and a future we must build together.

Be assured: your interests will be defended with courage — even when it’s unpopular; pursued with wisdom — even when it takes patience; and protected with integrity — even when temptation whispers otherwise. I will walk the streets, sit with elders, listen to youth, meet with market women, and visit schools — not as a visitor, but as a resident of this great community who knows your pain, shares your dreams, and is ready to fight for you.

Together, we will not merely wait for a better tomorrow — we will build it, brick by brick, voice by voice, hand by hand. We will launch a _“Ilaje Rising” campaign strategy — a three‑pillar plan:

1. People‑First Infrastructure: Repairing feeder roads, upgrading community clinics, installing solar streetlights in key towns, and creating a Constituency Development Fund that puts 50% of local project decisions in the hands of village assemblies.

2. Youth & Skills Empowerment*: Launching “Okunomo Skills Academy” — free vocational training in welding, ICT, fashion design, and agri‑tech — plus micro‑grants for young entrepreneurs. We’ll also partner with tech hubs in Akure to bring digital jobs to Ilaje.

3. Agricultural Revival: Supporting our fisherfolk and farmers with subsidized tools, storage facilities, and market linkages — turning Ilaje into the food basket of Ondo South.

I am not running for a title — I am running to serve. Not for a photo‑op — but for a legacy. And I ask for nothing less than your trust, your vote, and your partnership in this journey.

Thank you — and may our future be brighter than our past and our unity stronger than any challenge ahead.

Hon. Henry Okunomo

Candidate for Member, Ondo State House of Assembly — Ilaje Constituency 2
